A pungent, tangy and umami spice blend, Chaat Masala is the star ingredient in Indian street food. You'll find this mouth-puckering sour, salty and tart masala sprinkled everywhere from a Mumbai Veg Sandwich to Vada Pav to Dahi Puri.

Derived from the Hindi word for "lick," our Chaat Masala seasoning will make all your snacks finger-lickingly good whether that's a Cheese & Pineapple Toastie, home-made guacamole or even a bowl of mixed nuts!

One 80gm packet will give you enough masala for 25+ plates of chaat/other tasty snacks.

Please note: Black salt, a core ingredient of Chaat Masala, lends a sulphurous, funky aroma to the blend. 

The best way to use your spice

Sprinkle everywhere! Tastes great on salads, yoghurt raita, toasties, cut fruit, grilled corn and potato wedges. Can also be used to rim a cocktail glass, to jazz up a lemonade or to brighten up your salsa.

Storage

The spices come packed in a sealed zip-lock bag. Please empty into a sealed container to retain the aroma and flavour. Store in a cool, dry place.
