Stuff NZ | Dolly Mumma's Akuri recipe, Indian style masala scrambled eggs

Perzen shares that she has been pretending to be a celebrity chef since she was seven years old and watched too much Sanjeev Kapoor (arguably India's first celebrity chef) with her granny on TV. "I'd talk to camera as I made my morning corn-flakes and milk, sharing my very not-so-original recipe", says Perzen.

Now, she hosts online cooking classes that people from around the world can join from her kitchen in Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland, New Zealand.

"When it came to Indian food, I was really tired of hearing people just talk about the same four or five dishes. I felt like we were ready to move further,” she says.

In this video she shares the recipe of a masala scrambled egg dish she grew up eating, Akuri.
